This customer contacted Zenith in 2011, and said he wanted to know more about the mica grinding mill design in South Africa. After communication, we learned about his specific requirements:

  4. Final products size: 325mesh

Main Equipment

  1. Crusher: PE250*350 jaw crusher
  2. Grinding mill: MTM130X strengthened ultrafine mill

In this mica powder production line, jaw crusher is used to crush the bulk raw mica into proper sizes to be fed into grinding mill. Grinding mill is used to grind the mica particles into 325mesh size.

Grinding Mill Chosen

According to his requirements and his estimation fund, our engineer recommended Zenith MTM130X strengthened ultrafine mill for him. There are several reasons why we choose this grinding mill. First of all, the final products fineness of MTM130X grinding mill can be adjusted between 200mesh to 400mesh, including the required 325mesh. Secondly, the capacity range of this mill is from 1.8 to 6.5 tons per hour, also suitable for the customers. Finally, the max feed size of MTM130X ultrafine mill is larger than the max size of particles discharged from the jaw crusher. Considering about the above reasons, we recommended this mill for the customer. And he was pleased with this design.
